Understanding gluten in Core3
Independently tested: below 5 ppm.
Independent laboratory testing of a Core3 sample reported
gluten below 5 parts per million (ppm), equivalent to less
than 0.0005%. This result applies to the sample tested.
How does this compare internationally?
The international Codex Alimentarius standard sets a maximum
gluten concentration of 20 ppm for gluten-free foods.
The tested Core3 sample returned a result below this
numerical threshold.
Why does our packaging still declare gluten?
Core3's packaging declares gluten, and we do not market Core3
as gluten-free. Australian rules distinguish between mandatory
allergen declarations and voluntary gluten-free claims.
To claim gluten-free in Australia, a food must contain no
detectable gluten, no oats or oat products, and no
gluten-containing cereals that have been malted or products
of those cereals.
A result of “below 5 ppm” does not, by itself, establish that no gluten was detected or override the allergen declaration on our packaging.
If you have coeliac disease or need to avoid gluten, please follow the allergen declaration on the pack. This result is not confirmation that Core3 is suitable for a gluten-free diet.

Directions, Storage & Important Information
Suggested use: Mix 17 g (approximately 1.5 tablespoons) in 200–300 mL of water. Once daily.
Storage: Store resealed away from direct sunlight in a cool, dry place below 25°C.
Food classification: Formulated Supplementary Sports Food.
This food is not a sole source of nutrition and should be consumed in conjunction with a healthy, varied diet, active lifestyle and an appropriate exercise program.
Not suitable for children under 15 years of age or pregnant women. Should only be used under medical or dietetic supervision.
